Yesterday was my oldest son (Brendan Jr. who teaches with me) and his wife Michelle's wedding. They will leave for their honey moon on the 26th. Mary finished her first year teach fourth grade. Mike, the best man, finished his first semester in college. Teresa is a sophomore in HS and Joe will be entering HS next year. And I will be coming up on 53 next fall. Where have 25 years gone?!

I'm not at the wedding stage (yet), but we've had our own little rite of passage this week with Lauren getting her driver's licence. It's hard to believe that my baby (don't let her hear me call her that) is driving.

My husband was 26 when we married...our oldest daughter just turned 26. We lived in Kissimmee, Fl when we married almost 28 years ago. Since then we have been transferred and moved around the state and country about 12 times. This summer we will be buying our retirement home back in Kissimmee.

My baby is 32 years old. She is changing careers and going into the medical field. My husband will retire soon. We are not sure where we will live. The path will reveal itself in time.

I've been at a standstill for the last decade. I still live in the same place, haven't gotten married, & still doing the same work. I need major changes NOW!

    Congrats!

I wonder the same thing. I turned 28 this year and that was hard. Time is flying by way too fast. It only feels like yesterday when I was 19 and first going to college. I know a lot of people are thinking, "What?! You're still a baby". I've been struggling with ageing since I was 13. Don't ask me why, but I've always had this huge thing about getting older.

Congrats Brendan on being blessed with a wonderful family and a new little one on the way :)

My oldest is now on longer a teenager (she's 20) and my youngest will have her driver's license at the end of this year. My dh and I have been married 25 years and every year seems to go faster and faster. I can't imagine how fast the next 25 years will go

    The circle of life
    Hmmm

This is when my Father's words come to my mind and when I repeat them
"Wait until you have kids of your own"

I still remember my son (at about 3-4) running out of Grandma's bath room with the other cousins following right behind him. What were they running from? An overflowing toilet!

Son has served in the Navy and is now a full time student Married , a father.........
