How long after an interview should you send a thank you note? Is it okay to email it? What should be included in the note? Thanks

I think a handwritten note is best.
You could thank them for the interview and specifically note why you're a good fit for the school.

For a hand written note, do you use a card? This was my first interview so this is very new to me. Thanks

A plain card is fine...nothing 'cute'.

I would think a note card with your initial on it would be appropriate.

I have always written the note right after the interview then put it in the mail the next morning.

I always write it right away on a thank you card. I also send an email thank you as well. Good luck!

As soon as possible before they have time to make a decision. If it's really close between you and someone else then the thank you note could make all the difference!

Thanks everyone. The job is on the other side of the country so should I send it first class?

Should the email be different from what's written in the card? I don't really know what to write. Does this sound ok?

    Sincerely,
    My Name
