I had an interview today that I felt like went really well. Now I just need to send a quick thank you email to the P. I send thank you emails after each interview (unless I'm called back that day and don't have time to send one before the call) and I always feel like somethings missing or they aren't good enough. Any advice on what to include?
I handwrite them, but that's just me. I'm an old school businessman who now teaches. E-mail or handwritten, I don't' think they have to be very long. Just tell them you appreciate their time, how much you enjoyed the opportunity to share your experience with them in-person and how much you look forward to the possible opportunity to teach at their school and help their students learn and grow. I don't think you need much more. The gesture will be enough. Good luck!
I'd totally hand write this one, but the P is making a decision on Friday and I want him to get the note before then. Thanks for the advice and the good luck wishes!
