    i am a new teacher and i am beginning to prepare for the ppr test. does anyone have any tips or advice? i have bought ALL of the books, literally and i am still looking for more. i really want to pass the first time so any help would be awesome. thanks!!

    As I understand it, this test is less about subject matter than it is about teaching practice. I think we've seen some posts and threads about other PPR exams here in the Other Tests subforum: have a look around.

    If you have all the standard prep books, you probably have more than you need.

    As you study, keep an eye on the online study materials - in particular, the outline of subject matter or competencies or whatever: that's the gold standard for what the test can and cannot test.

    If you're in the classroom now, look for connections between what you're doing in the classroom and what you're studying up on for the test. Tell yourself stories: "Oh, yeah, that's just like Brucie when he..."
