Have any of you administering the TerraNova Test? Wondering if it is an all day test, half a day, timed, untimed, etc...were told today we would administer next week, but need more details to make lesson plans for next week

It is much like any standardized testing. For some age groups it's timed, but for the younger ones, it's not. We do Terra Novas at our school.

Each test has an "approximate" time it takes to administer it. I've only done the K/1 version since that's the age I teach, and we have one practice test and 4 tests. We do one test a day and it takes a week. The higher up you go in grades, the more that's tested, so the more time it takes. I would imagine there is more individualized work as well instead of instructions/questions dictated by the teacher like there is in the younger tests.

    Good luck!

Ours take two days, all day.

Ours differ by grade level, but none are more than 45 minutes per test. Most grades take two tests, one per day.

I've only given it to 9th graders and only the reading and math portions. It isn't too bad except for getting those who finish early to sit still and not drive the others nuts.
