Does anyone have ideas for practicing tens and ones (like base ten blocks; 8 tens = 80, place value, etc.)? I need to come up with a few activities for next week and I am getting stuck. Thanks!

I have a book that uses cereal to teach math. They took a piece of styrofoam about 4 inches long and three inches wide and poked three pipe cleaners in a row. They label each pipe cleaner as hundreds, tens and ones. They used Fruit Loop cereal and made numbers by placing cereal on the correct place value stick. I made a class set about 7 years ago and I still use them.
