I am 12 weeks and cant wait to tell my class this week that I am pregnant. Does anyone know a good book I can read to them about a teacher being pregnant? I teach 2nd grade.

    Congrats!

"I Heard, said the Bird" by Polly Berrien Berends is a really good one.

Congratulations to you! I had both of my girls before starting teaching, so no advice on how or when to tell the students.

There is actually a book called "Our teacher is having a baby" by Eve Bunting. We had a first grade teacher last year who read that to her first graders. She said it was funny to watch them look from her to the book like, "Is she?" See if your library has it!
