I've seen it in some of your classroom photos. I've checked their website but it's so confusing I'm not even sure what I would be buying.

What are the specifics? Has anyone done something similar without buying Workshop Way?

I did something similar to Workshop Way w/o buying it. I just made up my own 10-15 different tasks students could do when they were finished.

can you give me an example of one of the tasks-are they worksheet based or actual experience based (which I would love but could see where there were concentration problems if students were finishing an assignment and Jodi was determining the area of all of my bulletin boards :p )

Mine were simple: Read a book, take an AR test, write and illustrate a story, write a letter to a friend, finish up any unfinished work. Simple things like that.
