Does anyone else use this site? I only use the free materials, and they rock! I'm wondering if the subscription materials are even better?

I just looked at the site, and you are right...it rocks! I like all of the rubric generators. If I don't use them word for word, I can at least use them for a guideline and then make my own.

I am not too big on paying subscription fees unless I know for a fact that it is worth it.

Thanks for the site! I can't wait to look through it extensively!

That looks like a great site, and one that I will certainly examine closer when I have more time.

    Sign up for their emails!
There's plenty of free stuff on there, I guarantee!:thumb:

In fact, my whole social studies over the holidays- Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, traditional Christmas, and New Year- all came from there.

My science Christmas week was Christmas and the Senses, again from Teachnology. I was linked to the most awesome diagrams. Jeannie had a checkup that week, and we took the diagrams to show her. She said they were quality diagrams. I did a silent 'YESSSSSSS!!" on getting such great materials, and the endorsement from our doctor! Lol- I'm such a rookie!

Yeah, but I'll be a dishrag tomorrow! Lol!( I'm on the east coast, and it is now Wednesday.)
Here's where I got those dynamite diagrams. Notice that some of the body systems have short movies!

www.brainpop.com and www.brainpopjr.com both have some free things, plus they'll give you five days of free access to everything. Jeannie loved that, but the money's just not there to subscribe this year.
Both those sites ROCK OUT LOUD!

www.enchantedlearning.com is splendid, but the extra good stuff is subscription only. The materials are great, though, and worth it.

    Teachnology

I did get a subscription to teachnology but I found it wasn't very useful at the time. The free stuff is good but the items you get as a subscriber were not worded the way I would've liked them to be or were just not visually appealing to me. That's just my opinion but others might disagree.

Brain-pop I would definitely use more often!!
