    Hi!

I was just offered a position to teach Spanish in FL and I'm looking for information on standards, curriculum, etc. Where can I find that?

You probably could just contact the Florida Department of Education.

    cpalms.org

On the banner, click on course, choose your grade band, scroll to world languages, choose Spanish, pick your class (or explore them all).

That will give you everything you need to know =), standards, course maps, resources.

    Have fun!

You can also contact the school you will be working at and ask if they have pacing guides and other helpful information for your position.Congratulations!

    Thank you all!

I tried CPALMS but I can only see the overview. There must be something that I'm doing wrong.

Click on the "course standards" button.

    Try this: http://www.cpalms.org/Public/search/Standard.

If that doesn't work, it could be that you need to sign up/in, or that you're using a browser that, for whatever reason, finds cpalms.com indigestible.

Here's another trick that can work to get past a home page: Instead of searching for just the site, search for the site AND what you want: in this case, "cpalms spanish standards".

Thank you! I think that you are right, I need to sign up but I don't have a district email account yet.

You have to search for it by course (i.e. Spanish 2), not by the standards page. It's there. Top right. No account needed.

The standards come up as a pop-up so make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled for the site.
