I'm a fairly new teacher, teaching 7th/8th ELA. I have no grammar book to work from and need help with handouts, or a book I should buy...

Also does anyone have a good warm-up book they use?

I answered your question in the other thread; I don't use a "grammar book" as such, but incorporate grammar instruction into my writing mini-lessons.

For that audience, you could do worse than Barron's Painless Grammar, which my neighborhood Costcos (!) are carrying right now for under eight bucks each.
