Saw a job posting at a private yeshiva

Question, for a general studies teacher (not religion) does anyone know what they expect you to know in terms of Judaism and Jewish culture. And what types of interview questions should one expect there that they would not at a public school. Thanks,

I have never taught at a Yeshiva, however, I did work at a Jewish summer camp for 12 years in the office. I don't think they will expect you to know how to speak Hebrew, although you will be surprised at how quickly you pick it up. As for the culture, I really don't think that you will be expected to know about it, although checking a few books out from the library or doing some online reading will certainly give you an edge. You will be asked not to bring any foods into school that aren't kosher, and that isn't difficult as all foods are marked. Let us know how the interview goes! My experience at camp has given me 12 years of good friendships!
