Any fun games or projects to reinforce adjectives?

I use old calendar pictures that I have glued to a large piece of construction paper and laminated. I leave room for writing under the pictures. We then brainstorm all the words that can describe the picture. Obviously, this would be after you teach the definition of adjectives. The kids really like to describe the pictures. I choose really cute, colorful ones (see the adjectives..ha) that the kids can relate too. After we did this whole group, I had the students break into groups and write adjectives for a different picture. They then had to stand up and read their list of adjectives and see if we could guess what they were describing. Good fun!

Mad Libs! They are great, funny practice for all parts of speech! My 1st graders LOVE doing them.
