I would like to have a web page this year for my student's and parents to access. I want to start out with a basic but effective page. What should I include?;)

I use Teacher Web.( For $2.50 a month) This used to be free, but I find that the money is well spent. You can post homework,a calendar of events ,announcements, FAQ's, a helpful links section, and a blurb about yourself. This also allows the children a hyper link to your e-mail (if you like).I keep a separate e-mail account for them to contact me. You can also post student work or grades( I don't use the grade feature.) Some things are better face to face. In case families don't have Internet access be sure that everything on the web page is also available on paper. Good Luck! I love my web site.:)
