Who are constantly searching for the next craft craft craft...

Whose home computer gets more of a workout than "office" computer. (who has time?!!)

Who types a letter to another adult in a child sing song language (you know what I mean..the elementary newsletter).

LMBO at the telling other people's kids what to do.

That reminds me. I have a 3 year old in diapers. He gets a light swat on the butt. Well the first week of school I had one kid that did something that reminded me of a 3 year old and my gut reaction was to swat him. I came VERY close but remembered it's not summer anymore and I can't do that to school kids. OOPs.

Haha-I was saying that to someone the other day. Sometimes I have the greatest urge to say "Slow down!" or "Don't do that!" to other kids I see in stores.

    Here is mine...

Fear when the weatherman/woman calls for snow (especially the first time in the season).

    The kids here go crazy!

I give my teacher eye a lot out in public.

I also pray that kids I seen acting that way out in public do not end up in my class (and usually out loud to make my dh laugh) ;)

when in public you tell people to keep walking and make a single file line.

I did that at sea world. My husband was mortified but laughed.

I swear you can spot teachers in line at Walmart and other places...like me yesterday buying paper trays at Walmart to use for mailboxes for my students. I bought every one on the shelf!

Tell children to put things down in the store because they could break it.

I went to a 2-day teacher workshop and during lunch on the first day I unfolded a napkin and gave it to the teacher (whom I did not know) sitting beside me. She already had one... I eat lunch with my students everyday and I guess it has become a habit.

My husband is convinced that I'm going to get beat up by a parent in Wal-Mart one of these days for telling someone's child to stop running or stop messing around with something they shouldn't be touching in the first place. LOL

I can also predict snow by the behavior of the kids.

OOOH, that is so true! I went to the staples sale when they had pencils for a penny, among other deals...and ran into our reading teacher, who has no children at home anymore. We were so excited about the deals that the man between us in line started to laugh and said, "I can bet what you two do for a living!"

My husband does the same thing. I can't resist the urge to correct behavior, and he's sure one of us is going to be shot one day!
