I know this has been talked about a thousand times but I'm collecting data (science teacher :) ) and want to know how many teachers on here have a 1 tattoo or more.
I'm need this data for an article I want to publish on a teaching website.
This data would really help me out.

    Thank you so much!

I don’t, but many people I know do. Usually they’re discreet though; no one I teach with has face tattoos, full arm sleeves, or letters on their knuckles.

Same with me. I don't have one but a lot of other teachers do. Usually small and discrete. Thanks for taking the survey.

I have nine tattoos. The smallest is about 4X4.
    • outside of left ankle
    • outside of left hip/thigh (2)
    • front of right thigh
    • outside of right hip/thigh
    • right forearm
    • top of left shoulder
    • left shoulder blade
    • outside of right calf
If I want/need to be completely covered, I will wear cropped pants, short-sleeved or sleeveless blouse, and cardigan or knee-length dress, cardigan, and boots. However, they don't have to be covered. In warm weather, the two lower leg tattoos and forearm tattoo are visible. Sometimes the shoulder cap. I'm in a conservative, rural area, and it's not a big deal. I work with several people who have visible tattoos.

None at this time, but I have deal with one of my seniors that when he gets his diploma AND his license, he's going to ink a small semicolon on the inside of my right wrist.

I don't have any tattoos, but I teach at an art school where tons of ink and piercings are the norm.

I had a friend who had a shop when I was 15. From ages 15-18, he gave me 8. None can be seen when I am dressed to go to work.
Most are very visible though when I vacation (swim and beach). After all of these years, I only really still think 1 is cute. 1 is so bad that I am horrified when it shows....lol I was a bit of a wild child at that age. If I had to do it over, I probably wouldn't have gotten them.

I think a lot of people eventually regret tattoos.

Let us know if that deal works - might be something to add to our play-books!

I'm an old fashioned girl, I would never get tattoos. In this area tattoos are very accepted, most of what you see are gang tattoos lol, or nothing really artistic or otherwise meaningful.
At my school I haven't seen any teachers with tattoos, maybe I missed it or they were covered up.

I would never get one either. They are too permanent.
