So, I've been teaching for a while, however, I find myself for the first time in a unique situation. I am finishing out my contract and begin at a new school later this month...has anyone else been in this situation?

There is a long term sub covering my classes until my arrival. It's just strange to me not to start the year off from the beginning. I've set up the room already, but haven't officially met students/classes.

    Any suggestions/ideas would be appreciated!

    Better late than never!
All you can really do is continue on with curriculum and review rules and procedures. You may want to facilitate a few ice breaker activities.
