Yeah, I got some of these items several weeks ago but thought twice because of the price. I wondered if they could be found at a Dollar Tree, but got them anyway (I'm impulsive like that). They are sturdy.

I love Dollar Tree!!! Around here that always have buckets, trays, and baskets. My current favorite are the vinyl baskets - they are a little bit small, but there is practically nothing that will ruin them. My sister is amazed that I can go to everything's-a-dollar stores and spend $60-$70, but between baskets, loose-leaf paper, and all the other goodies I find there, I'm amazed I can restrain myself from spending hundreds.

Honestly, I am not that impressed with their school selection (so far). I saw some already set up when I was in Texas, and I didn't think they had as many choices as in years past. I was hoping they hadn't put everything out yet.

I bought some of the caddy's earlier this month. I was all excited about getting them for $1 and picked up 8 of them. Imagine my shock when I got to the register and realized they were really $2.50! I had just assumed since they were in the $1 section that everything there was $1. They're still cheaper than any others that I've seen, though.

I almost picked some up, but there was a broken one there. I assume it was dropped on the floor. It was cracked so bad. It made me wonder if they'd stand up to classroom use.

I can easily spend $60-70 at the Dollar store. It amazes my husband but then I tell him to think about the fact that I bought 70 items and would not have walked out of WalMart with 70 items for $70!!

    I haven't been to a Target in months...and I was gonna stop in today, but didn't. :(

So, are these in solid colors, patterns, or what?? I don't know why, but I am picturing lime & blue swirls.

Would love to find some "woody" colored ones for home use.

The ones at our Target were primary, solid colors. There may have been green, but I'm picturing blue, red, and yellow.

Thank you, SevenPlus. I think I'll be making a trip to Target sometime soon.

I can hardly wait until the after 4th of July sale. Years ago, I purchased mini American flags really cheap!

I was disappointed in the school supply section at our Dollar Tree, too. Hopefully, they just don't have everything out yet.

It's still early!! Maybe they'll get more stuff. Our Target hasn't stocked ANY school stuff in the $1 spot yet.

    Are those magazine boxes cardboard?

I plan to go to Ikea to get these. I thought it was a good deal, but I'll have to go to the store to check it out.

I was at a Dollar Store that had a whole aisle full of school supplies, so maybe it is up to the store.

    Not the Dollar spot

They no longer call it the Dollar Spot. It is See Spot Save. Everything is no longer a dollar there. There is usually a price on the bottom or he back. And there is a colored circle. When items go on clearance, only items with certain colored dots go on sale.
