I have been offered a teaching position at my district of choice. I have not resigned from my current district (and won't until I sign my contract with my new district). I have just completed some necessary GT training hours online through my current district, but have not received the credit for those hours yet because the professional development specialist hasn't "graded" my work and approved the hours. What is a tactful way in asking them to hurry up and grade them? The hours will transfer to my new district and I don't want to have to do them all over again (it was a LOT of work). :)

Do you have to receive the credit before you resign? It seems like if you did the work, it should still count even when you leave.

Do you have a contract? If so, make sure you resign by the specified date.
