I have some from Target but I have never used them. Can anyone think of any activities my students can do with these?
    Thanks!

Can you post a picture or a link to something that looks like it? Or describe it?

Same here. I used them in centers for handwritten directions. I also used one to display "have you filled a bucket today?" and a list of my bucket filler stars.

They are like whiteboards that stand up with a small space underneath for sentence strips. There is one on each side.

I use them to display the high-frequency words for the week as well as decodable words (words using our phonics skill for the week).

I have my students use them in centers with pre-made word matching puzzles. They put the matching cards in the chart, instead of all over the floor or their desk.

I used them around my room to display my jobs and my daily objectives. I have been wanting to make some PVC pipe tabletop stands to hand them on, but haven't gotten around to it. If I can get those done, I will use the small pocket charts for small group centers.

I made small easels from foam core board that sit on a desktop. The pocket charts are attached. They fold flat when we're not using them.

I do spelling words, vocab definition and word matching, math patterns, etc. with mine. I use them a great deal during reading with our word work choice.
