Looks like it's the Patriots and the Giants. I was hoping it would be the Packers, but oh well. But then again I wanted to Colts to go again... I have a feeling they will make a big to-do about the Manning brothers.
Hopefully! 18-0 means nothing if we don't win the big one. We are 14 point favorites (although if history means anything, the Pats will win by a field goal ).
I wanted the Colts to go (nope!). I wanted the Cowboys to go (nope!). I wanted the Packers to go (nope!). And since I'm not a Giants fan, I have to agree with 19-0, perfect season, breaking every record (almost) Pats!
GO GIANTS!!!!!! I am so excited and can't wait for the Superbowl. My aunts, uncles, and cousins live in RI and MA and are rooting for the the PATS. My family is rooting for the GIANTS!! It is going to be some fun tension among my family for the next 2 weeks!
Both NFC Championship QBs have Mississippi ties, so it was hard to cheer for one over another. I was cheering for NY, probably because I always cheer for the underdog. I can't imagine playing in that kind of cold. Eli did a great job. Favre took too many risks. My sis-in-law is a Pats fan, so now my son is, too. He received a Brady jersey for Christmas. He's 8 years old, and has become the sports fanatic this year!
I am a Jersey girl and I dont live far from Giant's stadium. Last night's game was great, I watched it in NYC with a friend. Can't wait for the Superbowl. GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am mourning and trying to unthaw after sitting outside for 6 hrs to watch my Packers lose If Brett comes back, we should have the same players, but with another year of experience, so no worries! If the Packers couldn't go to the SB, I was glad for the Giants-what a great "feel-good" story!
When is the big game? (I know I live under a rock)We watche the Packers yesterday. But I'll have to go with my former QB Tom Brady's team.
Go Giants! They had to win 3 road games against playoff teams to make it to the SBowl! (Or super bolt as my 4 year old calls it). I was a fan of the Pats until the coach admitted to cheating.
I don't root for Mannings or teams from New York, and Eli is both of those. GO PATS!!! P.S. Sox tickets on sale tomorrow Here's to hours and hours in the virtual waiting room and no tickets by the end of the day
I'll be online at 9 and trying to get into the waiting room right at 10! I plan on being in front of my computer alllll day in the stupid virtual waiting room. If I can buy tickets at face value, though, it'll be well worth it!
I'm in NJ, but the men in my house (2 sons, hubby) LOVE the Pats (we all still HATE the Sox though...) Here's a great Pats on Utube goodie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGbua9TV18c
Ditto for my son....got the Pats jersey (and bed linens and pillows and blankets and figurines and helmets...etc...) for Christmas....if the Pats don't win it'll break his heart. All his school buddies are rooting for the Giants, though...so it's tough. Have fun everybody!
What an AMAZING season for the Giants! I bleed green and gold, so was a little bitter right after the Packer game, but quickly jumped on the Giant bandwagon. I think that I was as excited to see the Pats lose as I would have been to see the Packers win!
AMEN...my exact thoughts! And Beltichick's reaction at the end of the game is exactly why I no longer root for the Pats...they lost the 'class' they once had.
I totally agree with you. How inappropriate. I was very excited to see the Giants win....almost as much as the Seahawks but not quite. Way to go, Eli!!
