I want to improve my hands on teaching skills this summer and plan to apply for a grant to attend a workshop this summer. I am thinking about Kagan. Has anyone attended this or have any other suggestions? I teach 5th grade self contained and want 'enrichment' in all subject areas. Thank you. Stephanie

I took Kagan Cooperative Learning- it was very good. Where do you get your grants to take classes?

    Summer Workshop

In Oklahoma we have the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence and the Fund for Teachers' Oklahoma Program which both have summer professional development grants. Has anybody done an excellent hands on learning training in any subject during the summer?
