I'm thinking about what I can do with my kids this summer and starting to put a list together. How old are your kids and what are doing?

We will swim most days and we have two local libraries with summer activities to choose from. We also love the indoor bounce houses and I have a teacher friend with a daughter close to my kids' age and we usually have a playdate once a week.

The one thing we do EVERY day in the summer is "Power Hour".
We all either read, write, or do math for an hour at the same time.

My sons are also required one hour of 'chores' daily. Last year we cleaned out every closet/drawer/cupboard...one closet a day.

    golf
    disc golf
    fishing
    biking
bonfires...nightly on nights not at baseball but sometimes even then
    camping
Swimming daily...we have what we call our hillbilly pool (intex blue above ground pool from Menards)
    boating
    baseball games...lots of these
Hoping for a Brewer game and Door County trip,

My son is 3 and we will be busy! We will be visiting our local library for story time once a week. We have a membership to the science center so we will be going there often. We will most likely go swimming several days a week and take early visits to the park before it gets too hot. Lots of creative play at home.

On Pinterest I saw a pin for making frozen sidewalk chalk Popsicles. They looked like a lot of fun.

Forgot to add that my sons are 10, 8, & 8 (twins).

I am considering macramé bracelets, latch hook, or such. Something crafty in length.

I used to do latch hooking over the summer as a kid. Lots of fun!

    I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old.

We'll spend an hour at the gym most days (I'll work out and they'll hang out in the daycare, which they love). Lots of pool time, once a week for library story time, our local theater has dollar movie matinees throughout the summer. Best of all, my best friend is also a teacher, and her kids (also 4 and 2) are best buddies with mine... LOTS of play dates. :D
