We watch a lot of old movies on AMC or TCM. They are generally full of "content" and void of foul language and sex scenes, which leaves time for a great story line.
    We watch Netflix and Hulu.
Regular network programs are lacking what we need and mostly nonsense that is just annoying to us.

My summer shows are True Blood, Big Brother, and Pretty Little Liars.
I was thinking about watching The Leftovers on HBO, but that's if I can remember.

OMG-I watched 3 seasons of it-what a guilty pleasure-I hated myself for watching it but I wanted to know what happened! I kept yelling at them-at what point to you realize you are being bugged and stop having conversations on where you will be, etc.!

I also do not watch very much tv anymore. Mostly because they will cancel a series when you first start getting into it. I did think Gotham looked good. I discovered one called Almost Royal on the BBC that I think is just hilarious! I actually really liked Tyrant on FX that just started-it was something different. I wish I had HBO to watch the Leftovers-I think it looks really good.

 I'm watching Murder, She Wrote on Netflix in the morning while I sew or do school work.

Though now that I can stay up "late," I'll have to check some of these shows out!

I watched Mystery Girls last nigh. I thought it was horrible!! I will watch one more episode and see if it gets better. I was just really confused as to what the point of it was.

I watched the Pilot of Young and Hungry and thought it was pretty good. I would watch it again.

TeacherNY, thanks. Somehow, I didn't set my DVR to record Mystery G, but it repeats many times I see. If I think it's horrible too, I'll also stop after a couple episodes.

I'm also liking the new TNT channel's crime drama, Murder in the First, starring Taye Diggs & another 90210 alumni, Kathleen Robertson (who played Claire Arnold).

I just love summer TV. I don't get a chance to watch much, but I record a lot and if I'm up late at night I catch a few shows.

Last summer, we loved Who Dunnit! My kids were so into that. Every Sunday, we'd come home late from the lake and watch that. I haven't seen it or anything similar this summer, but I don't pay much attention.

Last night I caught NY Med-LOVE LOVE LOVE these types of shows! Especially with NYC-just kinda fascinating to see how others live. Even though I think Dr. Oz is a d-bag, I still liked the show!

My oldest daughter is starting to want to watch MTV, which is both scary and funny at the same time. There isn't much I'll let her watch, but sometimes I let her watch The Challenge (when it isn't too raunchy!). Last night was the finale, and it was so funny to hear her rooting on Bananas and Nany. I remember a time when I thought I would NEVER stop watching MTV...

I thought they would do another season of Whodunnit but I guess not.

Ms.I-I should have known Mystery Girls would be lame. I didn't realize it was Tori Spelling's show. The title just made it sound more interesting than it is.

I have not started the 2nd season of OITNB yet. I want to make sure I have time to watch at least 2 episodes at a time before I start it. I usually binge watch those Netflix shows but have to pace myself because once it's done you have to wait like a year before it comes back! Anyone know when the next season of House of Cards will start?

I didnt like the "villain" in Orange either. Drove me bonkers.
I watched Girl Meets World with my son tonight. The laugh track was annoying, and I don't think it will be as good as Boy Meets World, but it wasn't horrible.

Oh, yes! I just got Season 3 from the library and watched all 5 discs in 2 days. The last episode had me really shocked (although you should be prepared for anything with this show lol). I can't wait to watch season 4. I'm debating whether or not to wait a long time for it to come out on DVD or just try to watch it on the free tv site. My favorite character is Tyrion. He just kills me! I feel bad for him stuck in that wretched family!!!

My kids gave me a bunch of gift cards for end of year, and I used them all to buy seasons 1-3 on Blu-Ray (I made the somewhat risky but ultimately correct decision that I would enjoy them). I've read the first book and a half, but even from reading the books, the show is still incredible. I can't even believe the production value that went into them. I'm trying to gear myself up for the events that I'm assuming will happen either in episode 9 or 10.

Although... not going to lie, even knowing that the actress playing Daenerys is well over 18, it's still really creepy watching... pretty much any scene she's been in so far.

Although they did nail most of the casting (somehow, Cersei is even less likable in the show than she is in the books? What?), Arya Stark is kind of irking me. I mean, the actress herself is fine, but really people, she's clearly a girl. There's no gender ambiguity there. Everybody calling her a boy doesn't work with her. I know it's in the books, but still.

Sometimes characters will notice she is a girl right away. Maybe they could have made her more "boyish" looking. I didn't read the books so I guess it doesn't bother me. What I want to happen: Cersei gets eaten by one of Dany's dragons  I can't decide if I hate her or Joffrey more. I don't think it's entirely his fault that he's so evil considering who his mother is!

I don't know. They just seem like they have been getting worse. The kids in the shows seem so "fake". I don't know how to describe it.

I finally watched yesterday & I agree...horrible! I don't see how the show's title has anything to do with it & Tori Spelling is better in dramas than comedies. She acted much better in 90210.

I think they used to have a show called Mystery GIrls or something. So the characters do something else now? I Have no idea. I don't plan on trying to figure it out either LOL Tori spelling looks like a clown with those clothes and makeup.
