    Hello,
I am always looking for new Vista Print ideas for my classroom.

Here is a link to some of my creations:

So, what have you made with Vista Print? Post your creations, ideas, or links to your site here.

(For those who don't know, Vista Print is a website that sends out emails for free items with you just paying shipping) People love it or hate it- sometimes people click on links that add extra items- don't!!!

These are all great!!!!!!!!!! I took notes while I looked through these. One thing I plan to do is put my BEAR rule on a car magnet. (Be Encouraging and Respectful) If I can figure out how to post the pics. I will post my stuff when it comes in. Great ideas here -keep them coming.

They are hanging in my room as posters also. The banners are very sturdy and the graphics/colors are awesome. Almost all my "posters" in my room are vistaprint lawn signs and banners.

I am thinking about making a banner for my school as you walk in. They are SUPER nice!

Glad to see ideas posted . I love the new fonts they have. I am tempted to redo things I have already done lol.

Nearly everything you see is stolen, borrowed, altered from somebody else. I am brand new to teaching, so it feels nice to share some of my things with others.

I up-loaded a bunch more stuff so you can check them out as well.

Did you make those for your private teaching position? Wasn't that what you were gearing up for this time last year?

Vistaprint is great...just made some awesome tutoring business cards and a address stamp for our union correspondence.

Yes vista print has a really nice feature - your portfolio. Everything you make and order is put into your portfolio. So if you want to reorder something, you don't have to re-make. I think the portfolio link can be access by going to "my account" and then the portfolio link is somewhere at the top right.

Now that you have place an order, you will receive emails daily for more free stuff. Some adds are better than others and if you are looking for something particular, just wait because it will show up again.

Hey, I came up with or rather modified what I will be doing at the beginning of the school year regarding getting to know the kids. I am going to do a scrapbook page on their thoughts about the upcoming school year. I normally wait till the end to create their scrapbook but this year, I will do some of it along the way. Any how, here's an idea that I am playing with using the flyers from Vista. My thoughts are that I will have them write on each others page about something regarding what they want to learn (?) this school year. I don't quite have it like I want it just yet. Would appreciate ur input.

I listen to pandora almost daily and every day I get the ad from vistaprint. If you visit vistaprint.com/pandora you can get 250 business cards free. I guess you have to pay shipping. I do not know- I was debating doing it.

Nope-no Vista Print for that job. Very few uses for 100 postcards with one student. :p

I have made so many Vista Print orders this summer that my husband threatened to close my PayPal account. He just does not understand how wonderful this is. Thanks for the great ideas that I have gotten from this group.

I would like to do some sort of a post card for a get to know each other activity. I'm wondering what kind of graphic/picture/design should I use for the front of the card?

Just so everyone is aware - free stuff on VP isn't REALLY free. I spent about 4 hours making everything, and when I got to the checkout page they wanted me to pay $50 for shipping! How is it people think that that is a good deal?!

Did you order from an email? How many "free" things were included in your order? Usually to keep the shipping reasonable, you should only have 4 - 5 free items. You have to break up the orders. BTW - all of the stuff you created will be stored in your portfolio.

wow, $50?? that's nuts. The most shippping I have paid has been $12 for 10 free things. I usually order around 7 things and have less than $10 shipping..

I have placed two orders with about 7 to 10 items in each order, from e-mail, with even paying for 1.99 red ink. I paid 16.00 and 20.00 for shipping. Could I have gotten it cheaper?

Here's what I THINK I remember from previous threads regarding Vistaprint shipping - some of the items you order make the shipping go up for some reason. One item in particualar I recall are the address labels. It seems any time you order address labels, the shipping in a little higher. If you do a search on vistaprint shipping on the boards, I think you might get more info. I play around with my orders, moving things around, buying the 1.99 stuff, to try to get my shipping down and I am able to usually keep all my shipping under 12.00. Most of the time I am able to keep it under 5.
