My class has a phenomenon that I've yet to encounter in my career. They constantly boss each other around. I've had bossy kids before, but this is almost the entire class! Scenario: Me, "Sally, please stop leaning back in your chair." Five students: "Sally, stop leaning!" "Sally you need to stop leaning!" "Sally, she said to stop!" "Sally, sit in your chair right!" "Sally, fix your chair!" They are driving me nuts I tell them to worry about themselves. I tell them to not boss people around. I tell them it is not their concern/business. I tell them to stop. I take away Class Dojo points. THEY STILL DO IT CONSTANTLY!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions before I go crazy?
No suggestions, but you have my deepest sympathies. Can you put them on individual "bossy" charts? And take away a point every time you hear them boss someone?
