I will be substituting in a third grade classroom for the first week of school. I will be meeting with the other teachers for first week planning. This isn't my first "first week." However, I really want to make this a good situation for the students and the teacher, who has a lot on her plate. If you had to miss the first week of school, what would you want the substitute to make a priority?
