    Hi,
I wanted to ask since I'm new to working in a public school. I submitted paperwork after receiving appointment for a sub job. So, school just started this week and I'm waiting to sign up with aesop. However, I was told that I need to wait for board approval first before starting. So, what should I do and how does that work?

I think you just wait. I would assume that the proper person will get in touch with you after the board approves you.

You could look when the next board meeting is, and check the agenda when posted. You'll see your name on it, or some blanket statement about all subs.

I see this a lot on this board, but, where I'm from, that part of the board agenda is always done in closed session. The notes related to HR issues are not publicized online, ever.

We might have a stricter "sunshine" law.
