Tell me the good, the bad, and the ugly. I test drove cars today and the Forester is the clear front runner at the moment.
Love my Soobi! I just picked up my 2014 Legacy! I traded in an older Legacy for it. Only one thing I don't like is the low front end clearance. I can't pull up to the curb or I'll hit the underside.
My husband had a Forester for 13 or 14 years...he LOVED that car!!! He only switched to a Kia because with 3 growing kids, we needed the extra row of seats in the back.
My Subaru was the most reliable car ever! I'm considering going back to that when I start to look for a new car as well.
I have a Forester. Love how it handles in the Ohio snow...and it is good on gas mileage. ( I have a long commute) It rides fairly smooth, but a bit loud inside the car. I will look at a Subaru again when this one starts to go.
Subaru is a great "soccer mom's car" ..... Great for snowy conditions on paved roads, etc....... If you plan to drive moderately tough off road terrain then you might consider something a bit more aggressive vehicle .......... If you drive really tough off roads with a Subaru then you can count of VDL (vehicle damage likely) ........ Just my
My current Forester is 14-years-old and running great! I love her but I'm ready for an upgrade...just trying to save cash so we can have a minimum car payment. The 2014s are NICE!
Hey, we have something else in common!! My wife and I both have Subarus. Her 2001 Forester has close to 250,000 miles and still runs great and has no body rot. We also just picked up a 1998 Outback with less than 95,000 miles. I always loved the body style of that car. It even has heated leather seats!! Teacherman
