    Hi everyone!
I am sick at home and am trying to come up with something for the substitute to do tomorrow. I really need something for reading. They just finished a story and I don't want them to start anything without me so does anyone have any activities that they can do for just one day?

Science ideas would be a plus too! Thanks

Write a summary of the story and draw a picture to go with it.

Pick one character from something they have read and list two character traits, giving their "evidence" to prove what they say.

    Write a book recommendation.

    Feel better!

You could have them create character maps or sequence maps and then draw a picture. If you have access to a computer you could have them go on Kidspiration.
