Hello! I have a bit of an issue. I am trying to come up with some good sub plans for my science class. I can not think of anything besides reading assignments and answering questions. BORRRINGG! Can anybody give me some ideas?

    Thanks!

Does your school have a BrainPop or DiscoveryEducation account? If so, there are great videos and activities that you can have kids do with a sub but still relate to your curriculum.

What kind of science do you teach?
    Go to sciencespot.net and www.middleschoolscience.com.

If you tell me what subject you are teaching I can give more ideas.

Modern Marvels or Mythbusters are decent video choices. The students find them interesting and you can usually find something related to the topic you are studying.

Don't know about Modern Marvels, but I did find out that Mythbusters is available on iTunes store. Bought an episode on projectile motion for $1.99.

What are your school's rules around supply lessons? Can you leave anything? Can supply teachers take kids to the lab, the library, watch videos, etc?
