There are several jobs I have applied for that still show openings. Should I recontact the principals? Go by the schools? Or just wait. I am tired of waiting, but don't wanna miss out on a job. I just don't know why I am not getting contacted.

If there's the chance that the position might still be open, go ahead and make a call (or whichever method of contact you prefer). It certainly can't hurt.

Call and see if it's open. I had one I was going to apply for, called the P and there was no position; seems someone missed it while cleaning off the job postings. Call so you will know.

When in doubt, call to see if the openings still exist.

It couldn't hurt to call. You never know what could happen.

Make the call, but be ready for anything. I applied for 2 positions that were posted online for a neighboring school system. These school systems make you put all of your info online including resume and then positions are emailed to you as soon as they are posted. I applied for these positions and never heard anything. I went to the school and since the P wasnt there, left a hard copy of a cover letter, resume, copy of my certification, etc.
When I called to try to talk to the P, he was out right rude to me and said they had no openings and he didnt know what I was talking about when I said I applied online.
So just be ready for any kind of response. I hope you get a nice one!

Go ahead and make the call, at least then you would know for sure.
