So here is what this crazy guy did today!

At our staff meeting on Friday we were told that the CA standards for ELA & Math must be posted on the wall.

I printed them up over the weekend and made the font a little larger and glued them to green construction paper to match my theme.

I hung them up this morning at student eye level like we were told. I was going to make a game out of it and cross things off throughout the year. (again suggested at our staff meeting)

I was on the phone for over an hour this afternoon calling parents to remind them school starts on Thursday and to invite them to our little open house tomorrow evening. (something we were asked to do)

While I was making these phone calls the "founder" came into my room, saw the standards and ripped them off the wall and put them in the trash. The teacher in the neighboring classroom dug them out of the trash for me.

I talked to the AP about it. He told me to hang on to them and he would talk to the P about it and decide what to do. :dizzy:

    After that I went home!

This should now be between your principal and the owner.

I would clear EVERYTHING through the principal for a while.

I really feel for you. I hope that your interactions with the founder so far have been strange flukes and that he's not really as nutso as he sounds. I agree that you need to run everything by your principal for the time being.

I sincerely wish you good luck.

How strange! Hope this kind of thing doesn't happen in front of kids!

He doesn't seem too interested in keeping a qualified staff.

He sounds like a real piece of work!

Hopefully he becomes scarce once the school year gets going.
