So, I have been studying for my science 4-8 Exam and I was going to take the test June 20 but now I'm thinking pushing it to July 11 may be best. I do not have a degree in teaching and I am taking the exam as a pre-admission to the iTeach program. I am right at the end of my Mometrix Science 4-8 study guide and bought their book with practice tests. I am also using the TEA study guide. Does anyone have any other tips? Anyone also studying for this exam? :)

Sounds like you came closer than you expected: yay, you!

Try adding some subject-matter review (as opposed to test review) into the mix. If you're near a Barnes & Noble, see if its children's section stocks any hefty science encyclopedias (this being back-to-school season, the local Costco might also carry something useful): you might find something that will be a fine classroom resource. You could also rummage through the science offerings on Richard Byrne's blog Free Technology for Teachers, www.freetech4teachers.com; he lists some really nifty YouTube channels.
