Has anyone used study.com for the physics CSET? I used 4 diff books for cset chem college textbook, Barrons, learn chem in 20 mins a night, secrets of the cset, and Khan acadamy and they were not enough.... I am looking for something better, a new approach to study for the cset physics test but do not want to waste my money. Has anyone tried it?

Since no one responded I am guessing no one has tried it so I will post about my experience so far. I am on chapter 3. It has good explanations but not enough practice problems. I think I will need a physics book to find enough practice problems. The flash cards are only key terms not formulas. I feel it is working good so far to help me understand and be able to explain phenomena. The ch tests are just the same questions as the video quizzes. They are good for figuring out if you understand the content.

For more problems, how about an AP physics book? Or Khan Academy?

I've used Study.com and it taught me enough to pass the physical education CSET's.
In addition, I've also passed the general science and Earth and space science exams.
In my neck of the woods all I can do is sub. I haven't been able to get a teaching job for PE or science. Now I'm hoping things will turn around if I add physics to my credentials.

Like you, I am also interested in taking the physics exam and do not want to wast time with material that will be inadequate for the level of the exam. I think the study.com videos can be a good supplement to any beginning college level physics textbook.

I'm trying to 'learn physics' from Khan Academy with Physics by Giancoli and Conceptual Physics by Hewitt. I also have Schaum's outline of college physics and applied physics. My goal is to learn 1 year of AP level physics in about 6 to 8 months. Dr. Norman Herr from CSUN does an entire 40 hour review of the physics exam online. Be aware it is a review. I do not think it is sufficient for learning physics for the first time. Google his name and go from there.

If anyone wants to know, I was an 'average' business/finance major with no background in PE or science. If I can do this, anyone can.
