Have you ever seen students misbehave at school events like running around in the hallways, climbing on bleachers, and being a problem. It seems like happens when around parents and many parents don’t stop. How does your school handle this?

I spend a lot of time at school events. (Huge sports fan) Generally speaking there are admins at these events and they take care of any and all who don't follow the rules, parents included. I have seen kids and parents alike thrown out of a game or two. As for general misbehaviors such as cussing or cutting up unless I feel it is outrageous behavior I try to ignore. I have said a few thing to some middle schoolers I thought their conversation was inappropriate. When we are on a field trip and a parent is there I try to let the parent be a parent, but usually they ignore behaviors. I have had to say somethings to students whose parents are on the trip with us. Parents and school activities are a hard road to navigate.

We have people hired to monitor after-school events. Unless I’m working, I don’t handle it.

It's not only at school events. It's everywhere. Parents seem to let their kids do whatever they want nowadays.
