I'm presenting to all the teachers in my district in 1 week. My presentation is supposed to be 1/2 an hour... right now I'm at 12 minutes!! I'm just not wordy!!! Time to flesh it all out!
It's on an assessment practice that our school did this past year and now the rest of the teachers in our district want to hear about it. I'm not supposed to do an activity - just present on how we organized things and how things ran. I think I'll talk to some teachers at school on Monday to get their feedback on the assessments and then add to the presentation.
We'll show student samples when we move into grade groups. My job is to give a general overview and then talk specifically about what our school did. I'm setting up the rest of the morning. I think have enough now. Once I get going I should be fine.
You may want to leave some time for questions from teachers. Congrats, on your privilege to represent your school.
Can you find a video clip to fill a little time? Even if it's only loosely related (that's what our PD presenters seem to do )
