Strength and Confidence for a New Teacher

Today is my first day. If you can spare a moment, please pray for me and ALL new teachers to fully realize their calling from God and have a great first year this year. Thanks.

Here's a toast to all the new teachers. (Though at 7:13 am, I'm raising my mug of tea )

And remember, particularly those of you in elementary school: as long as the kids get lunch, get to the bathroom, and get on the right bus this afternoon, your day has been a success. Everything else can be fixed tomorrow.

Have a wonderful first day. Take some pictures during the day if you can; by the time the last student goes home it will all be a blur. (Oh, and get some take-out for dinner tonight; you don't want to have to cook.)

Now, go to bed early--you won't have trouble sleeping tonight!
