So I thought this week that I had should get the "Strangest Teacher Appreciation Gift" award, paper plates and napkins, until Friday when the MALE teacher next to me received a pregnancy pillow!!!

What are some strange gifts you received this week?

A 500+ pound cast iron water turbine, ca. 1890. (That's the year the thing was made, not the year I got it).

I got Kleenex and hand sanitizer for Christmas...

(Several boxes of the nice, anti-viral kleenex and fancy Bath and Body works hand sanitizer, so it wasn't a 'budget-friendly' gift--just someone who gives really practical gifts. The male teacher of the older brother got a basket with things like duct tape and an ice scraper.)

I get the paper plates and napkins if they were for your classroom--not sure on the pillow, though! :dizzy:

    A bottle of wine.

Not so strange as the delivery method - Her child's backpack.
