Hi Everybody. Been iced in here in Oklahoma for several days now. House is clean, cooked everything, papers graded, ... I'm thinking ahead to a little spring clothes shopping. What is your favorite catalog to order from for school? How about your favorite place to shop? Have you spotted any fashion items that you think you just must have?

    This is shallow but fun.

christopher & Banks has great "teacher clothes," but is sometimes pricey. Of course Dillards & JCPenney have great sales. Hmm....Truthfully I like Rue 21. I'm in college so I have a limited budget. Their clothes are trendy, but not too out there. They have some stuff that isn't quite teacher-wearable, but they have some great dress pants, jackets, and sweaters. They have a wide selection. Some clothing is what I would call "club-ready," while some is really modest and professional. I'm not sure if you'd like them, but I think it is fun. Plus, they have my favorite Pomegranate lip gloss :)

Being on a 2nd year teacher salary who also has many bills and a mortgage (i can't spell that word) payment on a house I actually do some of my "school clothes" shopping at Goodwill. I really like Bonworth clothes but usually only get them either on sale or from my mom for birthday or christmas.

I had great luck at Khols (spelling?) the other day. Not sure if they're around your area.

I like Kohls, JCPenny, and sometimes Christopher & Banks. I love Lands' End though. They have really nice sweaters and tops, and they hem slack you order for free.

I like to look at Banana Republic's website and then try to find cheaper look-alikes in Old Navy or JC Penny.

Hi everybody. I actually snuck across town (yes, in the weather) yesterday. Got some great bargains at Coldwater Creek. They are having a big clearance sale.

2ndgradebluejay, I forget about CATO. There is a store 2 or 3 miles from home. Will check it out.

90% of my work wardrobe comes from Old Navy and New York & Co. I love those places!

I love getting clothes at target, old navy, and Gap. My three very favorite places. Those are the only places I shop at.

I love to shop at ROSS and TJ MAXX. Those are my favorite. Also Kohls, Gordmans and Goody's. Everytime I go in Gordmans or Goody's, I check out and the stuff I have is always cheaper than what it is marked. Even the sale stuff. I love those little surprises!:D

I went online last night to JCPenny and found lots of stuff-- sweaters and suits reduced for end of season.

I buy all of my work clothes at the Limited, Banana Republic, New York & Company, or Nordstrom. If you don't have a Nordstrom, you can easily shop on their website!

Lands End is the catalog I like best. Their shoes, especially. Once you find your size, they are always a good fit. And the clothes are neat and classic looking. When I find something that looks good I will buy it in 3 colors! Love the stretchy pants and tunic tops! They hide a multitude of sins!

I'm into anything that hides multitudes of sins. I have a plethora of sins, myself.

I ve seen their stuff in Sears... it seems way overpriced, but I guess it's good quality stuff.

Their bathing suits are GREAT! I always hit their "overstocks" and get a great quality suit for a reasonable price. If it doesn't fit, I can return it at Sears, right down the block.

I have bought a few things from Landsend and it is a good quality. My mom buys pretty much all her clothes there and bathingsuits too.

I do a lot of my shopping at the Gap and Banana Republic. Most of work pants come from Express.

I'm okay with things not being the best quality (as long as it looks good) because between glue/messy fingers and my own "I will get tired of it before I know it" style I figure there isn't a need to spend the money.

Another Land's End fan checking in. I lived through the last "preppie" phase in 1980 or so and I'm enjoying that classic look again today. I love the flat shoes and just got a wonderful pair of purple tweed shoes. I also love Coldwater Creek and Talbot's. I am happier with a few really nice things instead of a large wardrobe. At least that's what I tell the DH.

Yeah, I'm not big on spending lots of money on clothes but their stuff does last a long time.

Nordstrom has great work clothes, Point of View is my favorite department there. Good blouses/slacks (and the slacks are basic and last FOREVER while the tops are more affordable which is great since I get tired of them faster!)

I also love the Editor pants-a little more pricey, but definitely worth it.

I like to check out the clothes at New York and Co. They seem to go in phases-tons of cute stuff and then whole lines that cause me to ask "What were they smoking?!?"
