Spring break is April 13 - 22. It seems long because I count the weekend that starts it, but it's actually a week and 1 day. Seems far, but we just had 2 long weekends (3 day) and will have one more in 2 weeks, so it doesn't seem so bad. Time is going by very fast.

My Easter Break is April 19-28 and school resumes on April 29th. I, too, count the weekends when referencing my breaks and have a couple of three-day weekends between now and Easter Break like you do.

Time really does fly by. For me, I’ll hit a major milestone with my budgeting (being 100% debt free and being able to pay my yearly bills up front going forward) on April 12th and I’m really anxious for it to get here, lol. And it is perfect timing because it happens right before my Easter Break! :)

Amusingly/coincidentally, our first full week in over a month (break/snow days/conferences mixing together rather crazily) is this week, and yet I'll be taking my first sick day (well, a half day on Tuesday) in my 900ish days of teaching.

Thankfully, then there'll be several normal weeks before Spring Break which is followed by a week where professional development stuff has me out 3.5 days the following week. Quite the weird year.

Our remaining two days of spring break may be gone. We missed two days for illness last week, and we are out tomorrow for flooding. On the plus side, that’s three sick days I don’t have to use. (I don’t recommend two strains of flu and pneumonia.:mask:)

If they don’t take our spring break days, we will be finishing after Memorial Day.

Thank you! I don’t get sick often, but I really go for it when I do.

We had 3 days off last week. Spring Break starts March 25. We are also off Good Friday and Easter Monday. This stretch between Winter and Spring break is the longest consecutive time we'll be in school for the whole school year! And it's a doozy, with a ton of events and testing.

We don't get a true spring break. Our "spring break" is typically Good Friday and Easter Monday. We have lost our only long weekend in March due to a sick/clean the school day and will be losing Easter Monday due to a cold day leaving us with 1 week that is not a 5 day week for the rest of the school year. Our last student day is the Friday before Memorial Day, unless we end up with more snow days that will get added onto the end of the year.

My DH has the day off today. His district was one of many who had a “sick out” today. I was home actually sick today, but my district was in session. I haven’t heard how many districts closed, but three of our biggest did.

My spring break is technically coming up, but I'm going to spend it at the new district. I think it'll be worth it come September so I'm not walking in completely blind. But I also know come the summer time I'm going to be beyond ready for a break. Which is pretty much why I just booked a hotel on the beach for a few days.... That my husband paid for.... But anyways I know that it will be a welcome relief.

We had another snow day today. Our spring break is now gone. :disappointed:
