I had a 3rd round interview for a special ed position (with school psychologists and assistant superintendent). The job went to the long-term sub that was in the classroom (no surprise there). I had my hopes up but it did not go my way. Here are the questions I was asked in the last round: 1. How do you collect data for a FBA/How do you make an FBA? 2. If you were in an IEP meeting and the LEA had to step out to deal with a matter outside the meeting, what would you do? 3. If a regular ed teacher sent a student (that was on your roster) to your classroom for behavioral reasons, what would you do? 4. Why do you want to work here? 5. Why should we pick you for the job?
