Ooooh-I want to hear what you think. I just ordered a bunch of books from Borders yesterday and this was on my list. They didn't know if they would be able to get it in. Let us know if you get any great tips, or if it's just kind of what we already know.

I read it and I loved it. It was full of good ideas. I am going into my 7th year and I still had thoughts like "I never thought of that" or, "That makes sense", or "I should try it that way".

    Highly recommended.

Is it strictly aimed at the younger grades?

I just started it and it is aimed at elementary. Doesn't seem slanted to lower elementary. I am loving it so far! Great pictures (I'm a visual gal) to go along with the explanations.

I spent weeks at the beginning of the summer mapping out my classroom. And then I borrowed my friend's copy of Spaces and Places. I then threw all my drawings out the window and started over!

I LOVE this book! It is so simple to understand and the pictures are fabulous. It was such a springboard to help me rethink the way that I arrange my classroom.

I looked at the one that my literacy interventionist had. It looked awesome... I didn't have time to read cover to cover but came home and ordered my own. Just waiting now.
