I have an interview on Friday! I am so excited. This will be my first teachers interview. I am an aide right now. This is with a great neighboring school district. I really really want this job. I recently passed my special education exam (which they checked before calling!) but I don't have experience working with elementary students. I have coached 6-8 grade and currently work with sp ed at my high school. I am nervous that I don't have the credentials for the younger ones. BUT, I also did pass the EC-4 Generalist test. I do have a brother who is in elementary school... should I mention that if asked if I have worked with children in this age group? Also any advice on what to think about or how to prepare for a resource spe ed k-5? Thanks a bunch!
