So.... the shoe issue at Disney has been resolved because I'm no longer working there. I had a knee injury, related to surgery I had last Oct. I won't be able to do the long walking necessary for the job. So....I applied for a teaching job and now I am a 4th grade teacher.

Here's my layperson's view: Apparently since my foot surgery, my gait has changed and applied pressure on the ligaments (or muscles, don't know the real term) around the kneecap. They pulled away from my kneecap and loosened enough so that long walking is painful. Everything is going to heal as the surgery location finishes healing, it just will take some time.

    Diz, that sounds fabulous.

But I'm sticking to this diet, so it's blueberry/strawberry salads for me.

I finally made it to the last Harry Potter movie. I was very impressed! There were only a couple of minor things they changed from what I could tell.

The Pioneer Woman makes wonderful recipes; it is too bad they are soooo laden with fat and calories! She specifically states in her cook book that her food "is decidedly not noncaloric". If only...

Sooo..... I have a table with beautiful flowers from my hubby. I'm back home where I can see the beautiful ocean every morning. My kids are back in school. We have a new family game to play, Joker. I have a game night planned for Saturday and a potluck planned for Sunday. Life is good. The only thing spoiling it is studying for this big test. That's why balance is so important. I'd say my balance today is shifted in the positive range. :)

Sooooo ...... what RR said make a lot of sense to me ...

'Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases:

    If it moves, tax it.

If it keeps moving, regulate it.

And if it stops moving, subsidize it'

Check out the historical data graphs. It could go anywhere at this point, including harmless out to see places.

I dont have a link because I see them in my iPad app, but NOAA has them somewhere: they plot the paths of all hurricanes originating at the same lat/long (since 1851).
