I have a new co teacher who is wonderful. She was recently put in my class from the other preschool room. I am allowing her to help me with the curriculum (which she didn't have much say in the other room). She came up with the theme of winter sports to teach our pre k students. Does anyone have any suggestions or websites to share? I am also looking for things for them to do at the tables such as bingo, file folder games, etc. or projects. TIA

The olympic sites stay up...even after the event and they often have teacher sites linked to them.

Have your own olympics! Does your school have a large empty space you could use? The kids can engage in a variety of gross motor activities. When I taught Music & Movement, one of their favorites was "ice skating." Each child received two paper plates - one for each foot. They would slide around the room to some fun music and pretend to be figure skaters!
