Do you have any fun, hands-on ideas for the solar system?
Well, it's not an actual hands-on activity, but I taught my kids the "Blue's Clues" solar system song and they loved it! I downloaded it from itunes.
For hands on activity, we did a scale model of the solar system in the distance of 100 feet down our hallway. They thought it was pretty cool and the rest of the classes got to see what we were doing.
I should add, the "scale" of our model was the distances between each planet and the sun, not the planets themselves.
