We are having a school wide game night fundraiser tomorrow. The flier says bring your own snack and drink, but I just found out that the teachers are all planning on swapping appetizers and things! I didn't realize it would be a sharing thing, so I'm completely unprepared. People are making rice krispie treats, chili dips, cheese and crackers, eeeverything. I don't have the time to make anything homemade.

Any ideas of something I can pick up tomorrow morning before work and bring with me? I will have access to a fridge during the day but no oven. I don't want to be the loser that shows up with just a bag of Chex Mix!

A pre-made veggie or fruit tray at the deli? Hummus and pita chips?

My fave snack of all time!

Hmm... How about buying several bags of tortilla chips (or pita!) and then making your own salsa or verde? You could make it at night, pop it in the fridge, and it could be chilled and ready to go by morning or mid-day.
