Do any of you teach the six traits in Kindergarten? We were given a "Trait Crate" and told that we must use the six traits every day in our writing. I'm just unsure about the scope and sequence of using the six traits. How long do you spend on each trait? Days, weeks? Or do you intertwine them? I think once I fully understand how to implement the program in my classroom, I will like it, but I am feeling very unprepared right now. :unsure: Thanks!
