I need activities to help teach about singular and plural nouns in a fun group type lesson. My students have to be able to spend the majority of their time working in groups .

    Any ideas?

Nothing real exciting or high tech, but I always put my kids in groups, and then assign one of the rules to each group. They make a colorful poster by first writing out the rule and then, by searching for as many words as they can find to fit the rule and putting them on the poster. They usually come up with a border to decorate their poster, as a finishing touch. We then display the posters while we do our sing/plural nouns lessons. The kids seem to enjoy the research and the art work associated with the poster, and they have a great visual reference for their seatwork. :)
